We are looking to recruit a practical, motivated and energetic individual for the post of Transport Training & Recruitment Co-Ordinator at Carousel Buses, in High Wycombe.
Hours: 40 hours with flexibility

Carousel Buses has a workforce of over 150 colleagues and operates around 90 buses. We provide local bus services in and around South Buckinghamshire radiating from High Wycombe, where our depot is located. Our buses serve a number of locations including Reading, Slough, Uxbridge and Heathrow Airport.
As a result of the recent expansion of Carousel Buses, we are delighted to announce that an additional role of Transport Training & Recruitment Co-Ordinator is required to support the successful operation of the depot.
Reporting mainly to the Operations Manager, this is an important role that requires great interpersonal skills, training knowledge and attention to detail.
Proactive management of all potential new employees from assessment through to induction and training completion. Ensuring all trainees, PCV drivers and other new employees are fully inducted and trained in the correct processes and procedures for Carousel Buses.
Duties:
- Assisting with initial on-site assessment process for prospective employees
- Complete depot inductions for all new starters
- Ensure all trainee and PCV drivers and other new employees are fully trained in the correct processes and procedures for Carousel Buses, this includes all Health and Safety requirements.
- Delivery of suitable driver-related training for all new trainee and PCV drivers.
- Conduct DVSA Driver Training Modules 1a, 1b, 2, 3, 4
- Ensure all new and existing driver colleagues are trained in regard to legal compliance checks (first checks) as well as ticket machine training
- Maintenance of all training records (both paper-based and digital)
- Administer and conduct professional on road training, as well as provide constructive, professional and timely feedback to trainees on progress.
- Conduct vehicle type training/ familiarisation to all employees as required
- Being a mentor for new starters and provide route learning as required for both new and existing drivers
- Conduct additional driving assessments as requested by the management team
- Management of driver CPC’s should they be conducted on site at a later date.
