Take a trip back in time and investigate a miniature world at Bekonscot Model Village & Railway!

Established in 1929, Bekonscot is the oldest original model village in the world. Set in 1.5 acres of immaculately manicured gardens and finely detailed model buildings, the village perfectly captures rural English life in the 1930s.

There is plenty to see and do at Bekonscot, including:

  • Exploring the seven model villages.
  • Enjoying a ride on the 7 1/4" narrow gauge miniature railway.
  • Seeing the 10 scale miles of our Gauge 1 model railway.
  • Enjoying the indoor craft activities, available on selected dates.
  • Going on a pirate adventure in the playground.
  • Shrinking down to size at High Shrunkham Junction.
  • Taking a pit stop in the tearoom and enjoying some tasty treats!
