Carousel Buses and airline announce festive travel services

Carousel Buses and the airline service have confirmed special festive bus and coach timetables this Christmas.

The airline service to Heathrow and Gatwick airports will operate limited daytime services on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as well as a normal daily service with an early finish on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

On Christmas Eve, main Carousel services will run a normal Sunday service and the 102 service to Heathrow Airport will run with an early finish.

No services will run on Christmas Day, with a special 102 service running on Boxing Day.

Between 27th and 29th December, the 27, 275 and 577 services will operate as usual with all other services running a Saturday timetable.

On New Year’s Eve, services will operate a normal Sunday timetable, and on New Year’s Day no services will operate other than a limited 102 timetable. All services will return to normal on Tuesday 2nd January.

Luke Marion, Managing Director of Carousel Buses, said: “We are pleased to be offering a good level of service to our passengers travelling locally and to the airports over the festive period, including the airline service on Christmas Day.

“We have maintained the £2 fare cap on bus services and pre-paid tickets will be valid for travel. With several changes to normal timetables, we advise our passengers to plan their journeys in advance by checking the website or app.”
