Helping Hand Scheme

As part of our commitment to providing accessible transport for all, we offer a 'Helping Hand' card free of charge to our passengers.

There are 12 variants of the cards, which cover disabilities such as deafness, visual impairment, or simply to advise the driver to allow the passenger to take their seat before pulling away from the stop. 

The card holds a brief written instruction for the driver that can be shown upon boarding the bus. The driver is made aware of the customer's needs or requirements without the customer having to verbally communicate it.

The scheme is now being used off the bus as well as - in taxis, shops and leisure establishments like the cinema.
