We are currently looking for a proactive and organised Publicity & Infrastructure Officer to help keep customer information across our network accurate, visible, and up‑to‑date, ensuring clear ownership of roadside information across the network.
This varied, field-based role involves maintaining bus stop timetables, notices, and signage, supporting service changes and diversions, distributing publicity materials, and occasionally undertaking driving duties. The role also involves identifying, reporting, and following up on roadside infrastructure issues with the relevant local authority or asset owner.
- Install, update, and remove bus stop timetables, notices, and route information.
- Maintain and clean bus stop flags and timetable cases.
- Respond to service changes, diversions, and road closures with clear customer information.
- Carry out routine checks to ensure roadside information remains accurate and up to date.
- Identify, report, and follow up on damaged or defective roadside infrastructure with the relevant local authority or asset owner.
- Distribute leaflets and promotional materials across the network.
- Plan daily workloads efficiently and provide clear, regular updates on progress, issues, and planned work.
- Support wider marketing, publicity, and community engagement activities.
- Occasional driving duties, including school runs where required.
- Take ownership of assigned work areas and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Full PCV bus driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification
