Carousel Buses launches special ‘Bus Together’ reduced group ticket for summer holiday travel

Groups of friends and families travelling across Buckinghamshire by bus this summer can unlock cheaper travel, thanks to the return of a special discount on an existing group ticket from Carousel Buses. 

The bus operator’s Bus Together initiative offers a significant discount on its existing Zone A/B/C Group 1 Day ticket—enabling up to five people to travel all day for just £15 when purchased via the mobile app.

It represents a £9 saving on the ticket’s standard price, with the offer running until Sunday, August 31, to coincide with the school holidays. 

The offer has been launched to reduce travel costs for groups planning a trip locally this summer, while encouraging people to minimise their carbon footprint and opt for sustainable modes of transport. 

Zones covered include journeys to Hemel Hempstead, Chesham, Amersham, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Great Missenden, Uxbridge, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Henley-on-Thames, Twyford and Reading. 

Luke Marion, Managing Director of Carousel Buses, hopes the offer will encourage groups of people to get out and explore the best of the local area this summer. 

“We’re so fortunate to live in a region which offers limitless discoveries of rolling hills and countryside, plus the history and heritage associated with towns such as Windsor and Henley-on-Thames,” said Luke. 

“We want everyone to experience the best our operating patch has to offer while the weather is onside, and children are enjoying the summer holidays. 

“It’s why we’ve decided to cut the price of our group day ticket for all Zone A, B and C routes.

“Bus travel is not only cost-effective for families and larger groups but reduces our impact on the environment by cutting down on unnecessary journeys. We hope this offer incentivises more people to enjoy the best of our area this summer.” 

Passengers can cut the cost on their group ticket by entering the code SUMMERHOLS15 when purchasing tickets via the Carousel app. The offer is limited to one discounted ticket per user. 

The ticket can be scanned in front of the QR reader next to the bus driver.
