Carousel Buses will this year be providing Christmas Day bus services in Buckinghamshire for the first time.
Special timetables will operate over the festive period between Christmas Eve and 3rd January, including services on Christmas Day for the first time.
There will be a special timetable on the big day for services 1A, 9, 32A, 33, 37B, 102, 103 and 850, with funding support provided from partners at both Buckinghamshire Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, while the Airline will operate a limited service as in previous years.
Carousel will also be operating a special service on route 111 between Heathrow Central and Godfrey Way, Hounslow, in partnership with Heathrow Airport.
Luke Marion, Managing Director of Carousel Buses, said: “We’re pleased to be providing Christmas Day services for the first time this year, something that historically has not been the case in South Bucks.
“While many of us take a break over the Christmas period, we know there are many in our local communities who still need us to get about on Christmas Day, so we’ll be running special timetables to try to ensure we match supply to demand on our key services.
“Buses and coaches services provide vital connectivity for people to travel during the festive period for work and leisure purposes, and we’ve created timetables to ensure people can do so.
“With several changes to normal timetables, we advise our passengers to plan their journeys in advance by checking the website or travel app, where all the latest information can be found.”
Services will also run to adjusted timetables on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with some routes finishing earlier than usual.
Passengers are advised to plan ahead and check the website or travel app for full details. Full festive timetables are available at www.carouselbuses.co.uk/festive2025
