Running up to every 30 minutes, seven days a week, Flightline 102 offers a simple and reliable way to travel to Heathrow from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Uxbridge.

Our newly refurbished Flightline double deck buses are now on the road, featuring free WiFi and USB charging, next-stop audio-visual announcements, and dedicated luggage racks.

As well as taking you to the airport, Flightline 102 can take you to popular destinations including The Chimes Shopping Centre in Uxbridge and the Eden Centre in High Wycombe. You can also hop off in Beaconsfield to explore the world-famous Bekonscot Model Village.

Flightline 102 is part of the Carousel Country bus network, linking towns and villages across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and beyond. Between High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, buses run up to every 10 minutes, find out more here.

Flightline 102 operates up to every 30 minutes, 7 days a week, with early morning and late evening journeys designed to suit Heathrow flight connections and shift patterns. View the full route and timetable here.

Route map

Flightline 102 departs from High Wycombe Bus Station (Bay 1) and travels through the town centre, serving stops on Oxford Street and the High Street. The service then continues along London Road, travelling through Wycombe Marsh, Loudwater, Holtspur, Beaconsfield Old Town, Beaconsfield New Town, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Uxbridge. From Uxbridge, the service operates limited-stop to Heathrow Central Bus Station. Click here to download the route map.

Getting from Heathrow Central Bus Station to Heathrow Terminals

Flightline 102 calls at Heathrow Central Bus Station (stop 20), with onward connections available to the terminals.

Terminals 2 & 3

Terminals 2 and 3 are a short, signposted walk from the Central Bus Station. Lifts, escalators, and moving walkways are available to make the journey easier.

Terminals 4 & 5

Both terminals can be reached via free trains or the London Underground, with clear signage throughout. When train and Tube services are not running, a free early morning H30 bus operates to Terminals 4 and 5.

Free travel

Travel between all Heathrow terminals is free on trains, the Underground and the H30 bus. You’ll need a contactless card or Oyster to open Underground ticket gates.

Is luggage allowed on board?

Yes. Flightline buses are designed for airport travel, with on-board luggage racks for suitcases, carry-on bags, and other personal luggage. 

How often does Flightline 102 run?

Flightline 102 operates up to every 30 minutes during the daytime, 7 days a week. Special timetables operate over the Christmas period.

How long does the journey take?

The off-peak journey time from High Wycombe to Heathrow is around 1 hour 20 minutes. From Beaconsfield, the journey takes approximately 40 minutes, and from Gerrards Cross around 30 minutes.

Do I need to pay to transfer between Heathrow terminals?

No. Travel between terminals is free on Heathrow trains, the London Underground and the H30 bus. You’ll need a contactless card or Oyster to open the gate at Underground stations, but no fare will be charged.

How do I get from the Central Bus Station to my terminal?

Terminals 2 and 3 are within walking distance, with clear signage. Terminals 4 and 5 can be reached via free trains or the Underground. A free early-morning H30 bus operates when trains and the Underground are not running.

Are concessionary passes valid on Flightline 102?

Yes. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are valid on Flightline 102, in line with local concessionary travel rules. Simply show your pass to the driver when boarding.

Are your buses accessible?

Yes. All our buses are easy-access vehicles, designed to accommodate as many different customer needs as possible. Every driver receives Disability Awareness Training, and most standard wheelchairs that meet the reference dimensions can be used on board. If your wheelchair or mobility scooter is larger than the reference size, please contact our customer services team on 01494 450151, we’re always happy to advise and will do our best to help. All our buses accept cash, contactless payments, and tap-on tap-off using Freeflow.

Do you offer child discounts?

Yes, we offer child fares for children under 16 years of age on all our services, and children under the age of 5 travel free. We also offer additional discounts for young people through the Buckinghamshire Yoti CitizenCard scheme.
