A great new bus link into Slough & Uxbridge

6 months ago Mon 8th Dec 2025

We’re buzzing to announce that we will be introducing a brand new service 458 between Slough, Langley, Iver and Uxbridge from 4th January 2026.

Buses will run up to every 30 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, joining our growing network of services in the Slough and Uxbridge areas. We’ll be restoring the direct link between Trelawney Avenue and Uxbridge, and providing a quick way to travel between Iver and Uxbridge, as buses will operate direct along Bangors Road South.

Service 458 offers handy connections with the Elizabeth Line at Slough and Langley rail stations, and onward connections across London on the Underground network at Uxbridge. Buses will drop off at Belmont Road and pick up from Stop O just outside the station.

If you’re heading to the shops, buses run to and from Slough town centre, outside Harrow Market in Langley and in Uxbridge it’s just a short walk from the bus stop to The Chimes shopping centre. Our buses are fitted with audio and visual announcements to tell you the next stop, so you can sit back and relax in comfort.

You can download a PDF copy of the timetable here, and find a handy copy of the new route map here.

With FreeFlow, you can tap on and tap off on all our buses using a contactless payment method. The total you pay each day automatically caps to the price of a day ticket for the area that you travelled in, if this is less than the total cost of the adult single fares for each journey you make. You can find out more about FreeFlow tap on tap off here. Whilst many fares are cheaper on the 458, the maximum you’ll pay is £3 for any single journey.

If you’re a regular traveller, our Zone C tickets offer excellent value, and the ability to travel on all of our local bus services in the wider Berkshire area and into Uxbridge, including service 103 between Farnham Road, Slough and Windsor or Langley. A day ticket will be just £5.70 for adults and £3.70 for young people (aged 5-18) when purchased on the app or if you’re using FreeFlow tap on tap off. Weekly tickets will be £21 for adults and £14.50 for young people, and if you want to travel even more flexibly,12-trip tickets are also available to purchase on the app. If you’re making connections further afield on our buses, our full range of network tickets will be available on the 458.
