£4,000 joining bonus available for drivers at Carousel Buses recruitment day

A £4,000 joining bonus is being offered to drivers as Carousel Buses prepares to hold a summer recruitment day.

Existing PCV licence holders are eligible to receive the bonus, while Carousel Buses is also providing immediate employment, job security and excellent pay rates.

The recruitment day will take place between 10am and 3pm on Sunday 7th June at the Holiday Inn off the Handy Cross Roundabout in High Wycombe. 

On the day, applicants will be able to meet the Carousel Buses management team, ask questions, speak and network with current drivers, and fast-track their application process.

Those interested must have a valid manual driving licence held for more than 12 months, excellent customer service skills, and strong communication abilities.

To fast-track an application and take part in a full assessment during the recruitment day, attendees need to bring their current UK photocard driving licence and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Before arriving, they should visit www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence, click the option to share their details, and then securely share the code generated. The code is only valid for 72 hours, so it must still be valid on the day of the event.

Booking is recommended for the event, but not necessary.

Carousel Buses also boasts its own VIP Bus Driver Academy, which launched in January. The full-time bus driving school is based at the Carousel Buses depot in High Wycombe, providing professional training on-site.

Carousel Buses operates more than 100 vehicles and employs over 200 people across its network.
